Ramses II D has very correct limbs and feet and is tall, leggy and light.
He is also easy to work with. This bombshell grey has a pedigree that few horses in the world can rival.
He has an enormous scopey freejump and can really snap up his knees like his sire Rex Grannus Z.
His scope and power, are inherited from his dam Countesa D, and are very like his grandsire the great Carthago Z who received a 10 for his jumping talent. Countessa D is half sister to the dam of Davenport Barcelona, A grade showjumper and a licensed stallion standing at the Emerald Isle stud of Pierre and Tracy Kahn.

Countessa D is half sister to the stallion Wedekind D who produced Wanganella D and Windjammer D amongst others. Windjammer D produced Northlands Blue who came 2nd in the SA Derby

Rex Grannus Z was imported as a 6 month old colt. He started his showjumping career at the age of 7 with Sue van de Merwe. With just 24 months of training under his belt he is already medium A grade. At his first C grade show he came 2nd at the C grade post Derby show out of 63 competitors and also came 5th in the C grade FEI competition. He won the C grade Victor Ludorum at the Swaziland show.
